DO YOU LOVE YOURSELF ENOUGH?

“Food over People” has become the slogan of the decade. People find it more amusing to get betrayed by pizza than by people. The actual slogan should be “Denial over Duty”. It is ironic how people think they are using it as a defense mechanism to hide their feelings. But instead, they find themselves guilty of increment of their weight with cheese. The depth of pain can’t be calculated but the effects of the pain can be seen; seen on the face stuffed with guilty conscious.

It all makes complete sense. Love betrayed them. They got carried away in their misery and landed in land of appetite. What life throws at you has nothing to do with where you end up. People are not cruel, they are miserable. They take their dilemma out on you and instead of understanding their circumstances, you decide to play fairy tale and trap yourself in a castle.

DO NOT FEEL BAD.

Tragedies take place. Nobody promised you every person you’ll meet in life will remain loyal to you.  People are never loyal to you; they are loyal to their need of you. Once that need ends, their love vanishes. You got out of the vagina alone and you’ll get in your coffin alone. There is absolutely no need to crave someone who does not deserve it. Correct, you’ll find someone who deserves it but before you would do that, you have to stop letting fate punish you.

You read correct. Fate punishes you; punishes you for not loving yourself enough to be the person someone else will crave. Let’s all pause for a minute and establish an answer to the following question,

“Do you love yourself enough to be the person you would want to go out with?”

Your answer will be based on your current situation because once you starting loving yourself, you realize how hard it is for you to tolerate the toxic people and shutting them out is the route you drive your Mercedes on. Let’s be honest for a moment, everybody that matters in your life are the ones you’ll break bones for. Your strength surpasses all weaknesses and dragging the guilty corpses to hell is a piece of cake for you. Such moments in life are when your caring nature is out on the table.

You have the strength, the capability to show the strength and the loving nature to be aware of the time to show the strength. Then how is it that when someone break YOUR heart, instead of the one you care about, you crawl up in bed and lean under your blanket? Carrying the heft of flaws on your shoulders can prove to be devastating but it is in the toughest of days that we realize our true potential.

Our systems have a built in app called ‘hope’. No matter how hard we try, we will always hear the voice of our heart whispering, ‘someone will accept you with all your flaws.’ If we can have goals to be with someone who’ll accept the broken wreck we are, we can derive enough courage be that someone for us. If you can’t find yourself imperfectly perfect, you can’t expect others too. Let’s be honest for a moment, nobody is perfect. It is in the scars of our figure, where perfection hides.
