YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL.

Beauty comes with a price. With all the challenges in life, beauty also proves to be one. I learnt about the curse when I observed the beauty of flowers. When you walk into a garden and take a look at the flowers, it becomes hard to stop yourself from gazing at them. It becomes a challenge to resist yourself from taking them home and it feels heavenly to stand near them and breath in their fragrance. An obsession consumes you. All you want to do is start your day by paying them a visit. Irony of life is that despite being extremely lovely, the flowers have lovers who murder them by yanking them to death.

Like all of us, flowers love to be admired just the way they are. Apparently, not everybody loves the natural beauty. There are people in this world who assume to have an upper hand on pretty things. Certainly, their assumption does not just end on non-living things. Florists, as a matter of fact, are included in that list. It is their day job to make the most beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers. When you observe their work, you notice how they alter the shapes of flowers. Petals are thrown, leaves are yanked and branches are snitched. 

If flowers are among the most beautiful creations, then why are they altered?

The same way, there are beautiful people in the world. Gift yourself a mirror and you will see one everyday. Florists are all around trying to reshape and alter the beautiful creations of God according to their own wish. The difference is, they can't use their hands on you. So instead, they use their words. Words have a powerful impact on us. Sometimes, they are what makes us happy and sometimes, they are what destroys our world. Everybody has a right to speak but nobody has a right to hurt someone.

Flowers are altered because they are not as beautiful to some people as to others. If we all can understand a simple fact like that, we surely can understand another fact. The most beautiful people in the world are not beautiful to everybody. There are florists out there ready to alter the beauty using their words. Every human being is perfectly imperfect and unique in their own way. The best way to handle florists in your life is to not let them use their weapon of words. If they do use, don't let the weapon harm the beauty of yours.

There are admirers in the world waiting to see a beauty like you. To wear a mask of altered beauty will only drive the real ones away. Fake is temporary. It vanishes in the blink of an eye. It hurts to see the weapon being used on you but its even more painful to let it be used. Awaken the power inside of you and fight the people trying to vanish your natural beauty. Believe in yourself, know that you are beautiful and you can totally win the battle.
